I shot this pin-up set with Amélie wearing one of her own fetish outfits … she brought the military uniform made by Torture Garden clothing. Amélie discovered latex through our sessions, enjoying the look and feel of this second skin.
She’s not the only one who followed that way exploring my collection … many french girls wanted to wear some latex clothes after they tried it. No need to say this catsuit was looking great on Amélie’s body.
There is nothing special to mention about this first set, captured before to do some bondage for Captive Culture. We used a shooting configuration that you probably know and I am pretty sure you will like to watch these pictures.

We started our shooting day using the latex outfit of Amélie : she brought this military uniform for her private collection, it was a stylish catsuit suitable for pin-up photography or fetish party. I had a partnership with Torture Garden clothing since 2005 : this brand was known for latex fashion with a lovely design … one of my favorites is the white & red nurse mini-dress but Amélie made me jealous ordering this shiny catsuit.
I was happy to capture the french pin-up wearing her own outfit : the camouflage net could be a rich background for our session, split in two sets. It worked nicely for both photo series because the color harmony was matching well.
I usually used my jungle background downstairs but this time, it was installed in the living-room between two windows. If this space was narrow, the camouflage net could be doubled hiding the wall totally. That’s my friend & assistant Alain who found it online in 2005 : several models were shot using this set-up, looking better upstairs in a smaller room
The outfit has been completed with some high heel boots from my collection : Amélie did her own make-up, most of my sessions were shot without any assistant for a while. My model proposed some interesting poses showing her beauty from any angle : you can notice every tattoo was visible through the catsuit made of semi-transparent latex.
I must say the ink is looking great under this second skin : you can imagine the success of Amélie in a fetish party wearing her tight outfit … such a beautiful & feminine goddess ! She teased my lens opening the catsuit a bit but we didn’t have the intention to do more.
We kept focused on the pin-up style that Amélie always loved so much … as I wrote previously, she became more involved in my productions when we started shooting together, face to face. We could talk & share more than before and it helped to do several nice sessions that year.
One night, we decided to search some locations in Paris to shoot Amélie wearing her favorite pin-up dress with latex stockings : I caught a few pics in a dark place, beneath a street light but my camera was struggling with low light conditions. We had a nice time because I wasn’t obsessed with my productivity anymore … after so many years of running after a clock, my philosophy changed for being more focused on these models who had a lot of things to offer.
In 2009, Amélie surprised me with her growing taste for latex fetish : earlier that year, she brought her gas mask for a total enclosure session before to live my “beyond the lights” experience requesting a plastic bag while she was bound. I realized that Amélie wasn’t only the natural beauty & pin-up model who made us dream through these pictures shot for my websites since 2006.
There was something more behind her lovely smile & friendly attitude, maybe one consequence of these fantasies explored in front of my lens. Amélie didn’t talk about her private thoughts, not like some models used to share everything and sometimes anything. I always liked this engaging personality : my first meeting with Amélie was like her, simple and spontaneous.
She went to my house around the winter season 2005, we spoke about my universe and our friend Virginie Notte, a french photographer known for her modern pin-up … after this moment in my office, I tied up Amélie near the christmas tree : she was wearing a nice lingerie set and discovered my ropes. She has never been bound before but her smile was like an invite for a future session.
That’s what we did several weeks later, mixing ropes & latex : it was only the beginning of our collaboration. Browsing the photo series we did together, I could think there were more than 18 shooting days spread over 3 years … Amélie printed the mind of many people through less sessions than most of my muses.
Our first day of shooting was my two hundred and thirty third … this photo series 340-01 is our last one, we didn’t decided to stop, it happened because the next year has been complicated for me. Several things changed after my first session with Suzy (338-01) who quickly became my muse, I explained a lot of things in a recent update on the CC blog : you can read my commentary related to photo series 369-02 to know more about this pivotal period.

That’s frustrating but these memories are so old that I am unable to remember several things, like when the contact has been lost with Amélie. We were probably connected on Facebook when my initial account was censored then closed.
I know she did a trip for several weeks in Africa, maybe in 2010 … anyway, if we always captured some nice sessions together, my state of mind after nine years of shooting wasn’t good. I had a bad feeling about this activity for a while : Mina & Suzy made me continue but the truth is my taste & mood were changing slowly.
After Anaïs stopped modeling, I made some major changes in my way to work focusing my efforts on photography but also the emotional side which became essential to me. Only a few girls were looking for this experience through a total trust & desire to live more …
I shot less because these moments were giving some positive energy that my usual sessions didn’t bring anymore. It’s probably a question of dynamics : as long as I learned how to do better with my camera or my ropes, my picky mind was focused on this evolution.
When I started to think there wasn’t enough challenge for me, my attention focused on the woman and her expectations. I experienced some intense moments with several ones who explored the emotional side during the last years … this accentuated the difference felt with those models who were looking for something else.
Amélie was one of them : her natural beauty & fresh style always pleased my eyes and we shot many memorable pictures but she knew the limits not to cross in front of a lens. I was in a similar situation with Noémie, both have always been clear about their own red line, they wanted to stay in control.
It became less easy for me to shoot them, even more with the economical evolution of my websites … buying new clothes was complicated and pin-up sessions were reduced in my schedule. Maybe that’s why this shooting day #340 has been the last one with Amélie : we didn’t know it yet but my own adventure as fetish photographer was going to end slowly.
The beauty of my model in this photo series is crisp and shiny like a precious stone … Amélie revealed several facets to us, keeping for her some lovely secrets.
